Hello Parents/Guardian,

 

 My name is Tim, You can call me Tim Or TJ, I am

the Student Ministries Pastor at this church. I am so honoured in connecting and hanging out with your pre/teen as they come out to these events.

My passion is to help bridge the gap between teen

and parent/guardian and where you can find help in connecting to your teen as they take a journey of identity and going through various stages of teen to adolescent.

 

I am so pumped as I have lots running through my brain, We have a few new things going on in both Children and youth departments, we also have added a new department and that is Rooted Young Adult Ministry for ages 18 - 25+ of age so if you have a young adult in your family or if you are around this age please feel free to contact me. 

 

Kids Ministry

Coming up For Kids Ministry, we have the Community Easter Egg Hunt happening once again. This is scheduled to be for April 20th from 1 PM - 3 PM it is a FREE event that anyone can come to. Last year we had a small maze that was always full of various types of Chocolate, and a few Games that the kids could go around and play. We also had a Story time to hear what Easter is all about and we also did some prizes. I am hoping to see more people this year and even more chocolate eggs, and prizes. I am accepting Chocolate items and prizes right now. 

We also have a Cafe Lounge that is set up for parents to come and relax in while the kids go through the maze and do the activities. Please note: If we require your help we will be looking for you to attend the situation that may rise.

Youth Zone

We have a few Large events going on with Youth Zone right now The Valentine Fundraiser, We are doing it after Valentines this year. Our goal for the Fundraiser is to help send the youth to Summer Camp, Youth Convention and to other activities as well as helping those who need help to go to other youth functions. This wouldn't eliminate the cost of the events but lessen the cost of some of the activities.

or phone call. If you need a mediator to explain something to your teen we could arrange a day to connect so then I could help you and your teen to find a common ground. I am on both your sides and want to be a person who can bridge the gap between the youth and the parents.

Please note: We have registration forms for you to

fill out so then We could email you our News letters and have up to date info for your Teenagers. Also we would like to be sure to have permission in emailing and one day facebooking your youth only for youth purposes. Please pickup the registration online or in the church office and hand them in by the following youth night.

 

We have changed the format of Youth Zone so we can make it easier to connect and to encourage the youth in their appropriate age groups. We also have added and changed  the dates to kids Ministry/A.R.K (Act of Random Kindness Ministry.)

This year theme is Follow Me, Jesus used these words to each individual. we will be opening up with what does it mean to Follow Jesus and why should we follow him. Hopefully at the end of the year we would see our Youth/ Young Adults have a better understanding and a firm foundation on how its important to Follow Jesus.
