Welcome to Lifeline, this area is designed to help each student to have a place to be involved in a small group.

The goal for this is to create an atmosphere that as the group grows they will be placed in a small group with a leader that will oversee the group both male and female. the student will be place by age/grade and also have an area where they are able to spiritually grow and to connect with one another.

Lifeline meets twice a month.

For not the Lifeline will all be meeting at the church and will break off into smaller groups as it grows the first time they meet each month is designed to do a Bible study/equipping them to understand and build a foundation of what it means to "Follow Me." This is the theme for this up coming year as we discover what Jesus means to follow Him and what that would look like in our everyday life of living.

The reason why we want to call this small group Lifeline, is because we know that we need to be connected to something/someone who can give us life.

The goal for Life line in this up coming year is to first start off in the Right now Media with an 8 week lesson on

Follow with Andy Stanley

The next thing we will be doing will be taking various groups to start on either of the following studies

  • Ephesians: Building a Community in Christ; by John Stott

  • Evangelism: A Way Of Life; by Rebecca Manley Pippert & Ruth Siemens

  • Mark: Follow Me; by James Hoover

  • The Beatitudes: Developing Spiritual Character; by John Stott

Through these books and the Right Now Media this will help us know what it means to Follow Jesus. and will also help paint a better picture about how we are to be and live our lives as we choose to follow Christ.

During the Life group there will be opportunities to play games together and find an interest that the group likes to have a focus on whether its board games, sports or other interest that the group would like to create. with that this opens the doors for other people who may share in the same interest to join the Lifeline as time progress.

The second time the Life line meets is designed to do some sort of Community hands on service. Lifeline is connected to the A.R.K Ministry and the Lifeline group will be able to choose various projects that they want to invest in as their group chooses. there will be more details in how all that will workout. in the mean time Youth Zone will be doing projects that second time to enable hands on experience until the group is large enough to see the small group make the decision after the six month period.

When the time is right you will see Lifeline leaders names and contact information for each of the leaders who would be responsible for the Lifeline groups. in the mean time Just look at the News Letters for what Youth ZOne will be doing as a group.
